The Immigrant Mind: Iowa Recognizes Armenian Genocide

The only reason we were able to come to America was because a kind hearted Armenian family in Los Angeles sponsored us many years ago.

And so I rejoice to report that today at 11:10 AM, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is signing a bill recognizing the Armenian genocide, the mass killing of approximately 1.5 million Armenians by the Ottoman Turks. Iowa is the 47th state to recognize this atrocity.
